We live in a world that is bent towards some sort of prejudices. We all battle with others who are different from us. This flesh likes those who look, act, and think similar to us. These people make us feel comfortable. We love our comfort zone. It is engrained in us all from a fallen world and the sinful state of mankind. Even those who think they have overcome prejudices and are enlightened are not as far along as they would like to think. Try putting the enlightened one with one not so enlightened. Suddenly the prejudices of the enlightened one is seen clearly towards the unenlightened. The fact is that the Devil loves to cause division. He loves prejudices.
This world is full of prejudices, but there is One who has no prejudices. There is One who can help us overcome our fleshly prejudices. He truly loves all mankind. It is clearly seen in the Bible that God loves all people and nations. The Bible states that all prejudices will be gone one day. Philippians 2:10-11 tells us “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” We also find in the book of Revelation that God’s love extends to all nations. Revelation 5:9-10 – “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
The Bible truth is that while we live with the fallen state of prejudices and division, there is One, God, who loved every person, every nation, every tongue without prejudice, enough to send Jesus, God in flesh, to live a sinless life, die for all man’s sins, and rose again from the grave. He now offers this wonderful salvation to any person, any sex, any nationality, any tongue. He loves all. John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
